Room 1, Main Lodge
This large,
charming room overlooks the front of the lodge. With the combination of rough
hewn woodwork and floral wall covering it has country appeal with a rather elegant
slant. It contains a queen-size bed with an oak headboard and the comforter
is pale green and white with matching shams and skirt. There is a couch that
opens to make a queen-size bed. The couch is covered with green and white plaid
upholstery. On each side of the bed are small painted bedside tables. On each
side of the couch are tables with lamps. There is a coffee table in front of
the couch.
The walls are a combination of green wainscoting and a beautiful floral green,
white and pink wall covering. There is wall-to-wall Berber carpeting on the
floors accented with a large green, white and pink floral throw rug.
There are 5 single windows in this room. One window contains an air-conditioner.
The windows are covered with fabric shades to match the wall covering. Plaid
valances match the covering on the couch. Needless to say, this room has an
abundance of light.
There are 2 chest-of-drawers, one containing a 32 inch LCD HDTV. There are two
cubicles, one for storage and one for hanging clothes, covered with a green
fabric curtain to match the couch. An oak rocking chair completes the look.
The private bathroom is roomy and has two windows with floral valances and plaid
shades. The wall covering matches the plaid from the bedroom. It contains a
tub/shower and a large modern sink. A bath rug matching the larger one in the
bedroom is on the tile floor.
