About our Country Inn at Stowe Vermont

The main house is a circa 1820s farm house, only 2.5 miles from Stowe Village, the main village here in Stowe, Vermont. Decorated throughout with period antiques and unique offerings from around the world, the common areas have a blend of old and new. The innkeepers have added touches to the lodge not found in other B&B’s based on their experiences of living abroad. The hand hewn beams, wainscoting and pine paneling add a refined country elegance to the lodge. The dining room is classic elegance with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and soft relaxing music in the background. 8 sleeping rooms are located in the main house, all tastefully decorated, each with its own style and flavor.

Most rooms at our Stowe, VT lodge have their own sitting areas, all have private baths, TV, A/C and all are welcoming places to relax after long day of fun, and especially after a company retreat or a wedding. Look for the woodcarvings of renowned artist AB Wilson. His exquisite carvings of birds will take your breath away. The beautiful hillside where the lodge is located is quiet and peaceful but has easy access to all tourist activities: downhill skiing, cross country skiing, bike paths, restaurants and shopping.

The Hill house offers eight luxury suites. These large rooms all have wood burning fireplaces, sitting areas, private baths, private porch with wonderful views and easy access to our outdoor Jacuzzi. The perfect place to unwind and take in the Stowe, Vermont countryside.

Our private cottage is for those wanting a more private venue or for families who need more room. This charming cottage has a kitchen, living area, fireplace, 2 bedrooms and a bath. Located off to the side of the property, it allows for a secluded spot to enjoy the trees and the serenity of Ten Acres Lodge.

The grounds have abundant trees, grassy areas and places to take quiet nature walks.
