You need a vacation in Stowe Vermont!
Of course since I own a bed and breakfast, what else would I call this post…but seriously, I do think everyone needs to think for a moment before rejecting a vacation because of high gas prices.

Having worked on work life balance issues for corporations and executives for my 15+ years in HR, I know what can happen if you don’t get away from the daily grinds of life.
Burn out is real.
It lowers productivity, strains relationships, stresses families, etc.

Now the way I figure it, many people may consider a short trip that can be made on one tank of gas each way….about 400 miles?
If that’s the case, you may spend $15-20 more each way this year vs. last.
Are we really not going to make a trip because of $40?
I hope not.
I would hope that all of you, regardless of whether you stay with us in Stowe VT, would consider getting away for a few days or a week…turn off the cell phone, forget the news…and just relax.
Look in a 400 mile radius and see what is out there.
The perfect spot for you is out there!
