James Bond in Stowe Vermont
With the new Bond film, Quantum of Solace, opening this weekend, we at Ten Acres Lodge are celebrating with a special event. Having been a devoted fan for years, I thought I’d bring out the collection of posters, cars, books and other memorabilia for the occasion. We’ll also show some of the films in our cinema over the weekend, some of which are in High Definition Blu Ray. It is as close to the theater experience you can get. I may even throw in a vodka martini for those who see the new film here at the local cinema!
My Bond buddies, some of whom have seen the new film, say it is full of action. They also say that there are many references to Casino Royale (the last Bond film). I will wait to form my own opinion by seeing it On Nov. 14.
