Ten Acres Lodge - A Stowe Vermont Bed and Breakfast

Spring skiing at a Vermont Bed and Breakfast

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 3:30 pm

March brings the snowiest month of the year in Stowe Vermont, though many may find that hard to believe with grass making an appearance in the back yards of many.  But those of us who run Stowe Inns know that ski season is still in full swing.  For me well…..that means more shoveling and plowing.  But for our guests at Ten Acres Lodge it means classic Spring Skiing!  It really is a great time to come to Vermont as the temps are comfortable and the snow is soft.

March also means maple syrup as the sap is running.  It can be interesting to visit a sugaring farm and witness the process first hand on the making of maple syrup.  It takes 40 gallons of sap to make one gallon of syrup!  Once you have real maple syrup on our french toast that we make at the lodge….you’ll never want to have that fake stuff again!

A bed and breakfast in Stowe is a great way to experience the magic of Vermont.  We hope you find yourself our way either to ski or just relax…and think of Ten Acres Lodge if you do come up.
